BANGALORE 21st July 2021 — Achiral Systems Pvt. Ltd. popularly known through its brand name SyMetric announces the availability of its SyMetric Clinical Trial Platform (CTP) solution on SAP® Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. Built on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), SyMetric’s CTP solution is now a key part of SAP’s industry cloud portfolio for the life sciences industry.
Integrated Platform for Conducting Clinical Trials
Built for the cloud era on SAP BTP, SyMetric’s CTP provides ease and flexibility to configure various types of studies that can meet the complex clinical trial needs of our customers, including but not limited to biopharmaceutical companies, medical devices manufacturers, nutraceutical manufacturers, research institutions, clinical research organizations and drug/device logistics players.
SyMetric CTP is a highly configurable solution enabling customers to conduct various types of clinical trials. This includes trials from phase I to phase IV, blinded or unblinded studies, adaptive, umbrella, basket and bio-similar studies on a single instance. The system enables streamlined collaboration between all key stakeholders such as sponsors, CROs, warehouses, depots, sites, investigators, labs etc. with precise access controls and authorizations. Configuring visits and business rules associated with the visit intervals, identification of various types of visits (dosage visits, ambulatory visits, etc.) can be carried out easily. Subject management is crucial for the success of the trials. Precise business rules and important notifications can be managed during recruitment, enrolment, unblinding and withdrawal of the subjects.
SyMetric CTP can handle different types of randomization and complex stratification techniques. The IP management module handles end-to-end drug supply management across the study stakeholders including reverse logistics. Auto triggers for stock replenishment are based on the subject recruitment rate and stock levels at the site. This helps in clinical supplies management.
SyMetric’s Electronic Data Capture (EDC) module is tightly integrated into the subject visits handling. Intuitive transaction flow in the application drives data capture systematically. Systems can handle complex business rules, such as edit checks programming. Auto and Manual coding of medications and indications and symptoms are tightly integrated into the EDC module.
SyMetric CTP comes with built-in real-time dashboards and analytics, which makes the study monitoring easy for the site monitors. Organizations can design their own custom data sets to export the clinical data in CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium) format for further statistical analysis or for data submissions.
Business benefits include:
- Ability to accelerate clinical trials by monitoring and managing them efficiently to reduce time to market with solutions that allow for fast study builds
