SyMetric Announces Launch of Its Cloud-Based Clinical Trial Analytics Solution Built On SAP® Business Technology Platform

Bengaluru – May 17, 2021 – Achiral Systems Pvt. Ltd., popularly known through its brand name SyMetric, announces that its SyMetric Trial Analytics solution is available on SAP® Store, the digital marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. Built on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), SyMetric Trial Analytics is one of the industry cloud solutions from SAP and partners serving the life sciences industry that today includes biopharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and cosmeceutical/nutraceutical manufacturers.

“We are working exclusively to provide comprehensive solutions for clinical trials,” commented Uma Janapareddy, Managing Director of SyMetric. “Through our SAP partnership, we are able to leverage SAP Business Technology Platform to deliver flexible cloud-based solutions to our customers. We are pleased to announce the launch of SyMetric Trial Analytics on SAP Store as part of SAP’s Industry Cloud.”

Life sciences organizations conduct many clinical trials in various countries across the globe through multiple Contract Research Organizations (CROs). The success of these trials often depends on study planning and on the performance of various sites, CROs, and the experience of researchers. The performance of these entities also varies considerably depending on the therapeutic area, the country in which the research is carried out and the phase of the study. In most of these organizations, core data is scattered across departments and across multiple spreadsheets.

To enable companies to become intelligent enterprises, SAP is expanding its vertical solutions with an Ecosystem of Industry Cloud Applications. These solutions complement the existing SAP portfolio to extend the value of joint customer investments. These modular, industry specific solutions are developed by SAP and partners to deliver business innovation, not just technologies. They are interoperable and extend SAP’s intelligent technologies and business network. SAP’s open APIs, business services, and data and process models help customers to rapidly adopt these innovations and simplify their landscape.

“The launch of the SyMetric Trial Analytics solution is an important step in early planning, visibility and transparency for clinical trial analysis, extending SyMetric clinical trials and SAP’s industry cloud portfolio,” said Mandar Paralkar, Global Vice President, Head of Life Sciences, SAP. “We look forward to continued collaboration with Achiral Systems to create innovative cloud solutions and applications for customers who want to drive cost-effective and sustainable growth in their industry.”
